Factory Expansion Doubles China Rides' Annual Roller Coaster Production Capacity

China Rides has completed a major expansion of its manufacturing facility in Hebei, China, doubling the annual production capacity for roller coasters and large-scale amusement rides. The expanded factory now spans 85,000 square meters and includes dedicated production lines for steel coasters, Ferris wheel components, and dynamic cinema systems.

The expansion added a new CNC pipe bending workshop with five-axis machines capable of bending steel pipes up to 219mm in diameter with precision tolerances. A new climate-controlled paint booth ensures high-quality surface finishing in any weather condition, and a reinforced assembly bay can accommodate simultaneous assembly of up to four large-scale coaster projects.

"This expansion was driven by a 200% increase in international orders over the past two years," said the operations director. "With the expanded capacity, we can reduce delivery lead times from 10 months to 6 months for standard coaster models and accept more concurrent projects."

The factory also features a new quality testing center equipped with ultrasonic weld inspection, magnetic particle testing, and a full-scale track section stress testing rig. Every coaster component now undergoes 100% non-destructive testing before leaving the factory, ensuring zero-defect delivery to clients.

The expansion has created 120 new jobs, bringing the total workforce to 450 employees. The company has also established a training partnership with a local technical college to develop the next generation of amusement ride engineers and technicians.
