China Rides Unveils Compact Family Roller Coaster for Small Theme Parks

China Rides has unveiled its latest innovation: a compact family roller coaster designed specifically for small to medium-sized theme parks, family entertainment centers, and indoor amusement facilities. The new model, designated FC-300, occupies a footprint of just 1,200 square meters while delivering an engaging ride experience suitable for all age groups.

The FC-300 features 320 meters of track with gentle drops, banked turns, and a single loop element that provides excitement without extreme G-forces. The maximum speed of 45 km/h and maximum height of 18 meters make it accessible to riders as young as 8 years old, while still delivering enough thrills to engage teenagers and adults.

"We recognized a gap in the market for high-quality compact coasters that don't require massive land investment," said the chief design engineer. "The FC-300 brings our engineering expertise to smaller venues that previously had to settle for inferior products."

Key features include modular track sections for easy transport and assembly, a maintenance-friendly train design with quick-release wheel assemblies, and a PLC control system with remote monitoring capability. The coaster is available in multiple theme configurations including jungle adventure, space exploration, and fantasy castle designs.

The first unit has already been ordered by a family entertainment center in South America, with delivery scheduled for the first quarter of next year. China Rides expects strong demand from emerging markets where space and budget constraints are primary considerations.
